March Read-A-Thon:
Thank you to everyone who read and supported our read-a-thon! We raised over $1,440! Your generosity directly supports the students and staff of Phillips!

Fiesta de la Paz Raffle Baskets:
Each year, the Falcon Familia provides raffle baskets for this fun Phillips event, filled with items donated by our parent community. This year, to simplify the process, we have assigned each homeroom to a basket theme! Visit our wishlist to sign up to donate an item, or make a donation. 
We are asking parents to donate by April 11th. Donated items may be brought to the school.

Tickets for the raffle baskets will be sold at Fiesta de la Paz on Wednesday, April 17th.

Spring Lotto:
We are hosting a spring lotto to help cover the cost of buses for field trips! Students are challenged to sell two tickets each and more can be provided on request. The deadline to submit payments and forms is Friday April 26th.
We will also be selling tickets at Fiesta de la Paz.

Teacher Appreciation Week: 
May 6 - 12
Each year, the Falcon Familia provides a breakfast, lunch, and gift card raffle to the staff of Phillips to honor their hard work. You can sign up to donate food on our Signup Genius or donate funds here. Thank you for your support!

Board Elections:
May 2024
Board elections will be held over a period of weeks in April, with a digital ballot accessible via our website and by emailing us. 
The current positions are up for election:

Secretary: Take notes at general and board meetings; assist with correspondence

Treasurer: work with co-Treasurer to handle ingoing and outgoing funds

All board members attend board meetings in addition to general Falcon Familia meetings, and assist with fundraisers and events. We are asking for a commitment of two academic years. This term would start in August 2024.

We would also welcome the creation of new positions, at-large boad members, or co-chairing board positions among more than one individual.
